MiniWeaving Etsy shop offers hand-woven items for dollhouse miniatures, from tiny rugs to pillows, bedspreads, curtains, and other textile accessories. Most are one of a kind, or made in very small batches.

Rugs
MiniWeaving rugs are hand-woven on a loom designed on same principles as traditional country style looms, using natural fibres such as cotton, linen, and silk. This collection focuses on variety of striped designs in spring and summer colours.
The fringes are hand-tied, and the rugs themselves are stiffened enough to lay perfectly flat but not too much to lose the feel of flexible cloth. Like their life-sized counterparts they are double-sided and in some cases quite different on each side.
Most are 5.75” wide by 7” long (without fringes), with small variations dictated by the pattern. Side edges are self-woven
and did not require any type of additional hamming or taping, making them thin and exact replica of life-sized flat woven rugs.
Variety of patterns used gives each piece range of textures, and with so many colour choices there are no two the same.
Cushions
No display is complete without cushions.
To create the feel of contemporary eclectic home, designers often use them in various combinations of colours and textures which is why there are different styles and materials offered: textured hand-woven, printed quilt or plain cotton, suede, and satin. All filled with new synthetic batting. Sizes vary from 1.25"x1.25" to 1.75"x1.75".
Mattresses
Hand-made to fit an inexpensive daybed easily found online*, these mattresses can create a room almost by themselves.

Poufs
Being crocheted, rather than woven, these plump poufs add different texture to the room’s collection of textiles. They are not just sachets filled with fluff; they are made to have permanent shape and proper weight so they remain stable. The inside core is wood covered in several layers of fleece sculpted into the characteristic shape of these lovable contemporary seatings.
Once the shape is set, it is crochet over it with appropriate colour crochet cotton yarn, making sure every stitch is evenly distributed. For all the time it took to develop these miniature replicas (and it was surprisingly involved) it is very rewarding to have these with super cute poufs in array of colours.

Ottomans
The fabric for both the ottomans’ upholstery and the fringes
was hand-woven making them all whimsically unique. The inside is made of wood and foam base covered in layer of felt for soft edges.
Bedspreads

To have proper draping, miniature fabric has to be woven loosely and nowhere is that as important as in bedspreads. Beautifully textured, in variety of colours matching rugs, they are made to cover queen size miniature beds. Coming soon.
